It’s such a double edged sword seeing you grow up right before my eyes, the way that you do. I get to watch your beautiful mind develop into this incredibly interesting, intelligent, and witty personality, but then suddenly you look like a grown up person.
Over spring break, we took a trip to California. Here you are, on your way to your first ocean experience.
The Payne girls. ;)
Last week, you and your cousin-to-be, Kailyn, decided that you two were going to be bunny catchers. After 30 minutes of discussing a name for yourselves, you decided to keep it simple and sweet with “Bunny Lovers”. Hats were completely necessary, so you went straight to work on them. The next morning, you both woke us up wearing your hats, ready to catch some bunnies. It was all really elaborate, but we learned that the basic steps to try to catch a bunny go like this:
Step one: Build a bunny trap.
Step two: Wind blows bunny trap away.
Step three: Smaller stick, smaller box. And carrots.
Unfortunately, none of the neighborhood bunnies were caught. But you claimed that the carrots mysteriously disappeared…
One of your undercut inspirations, Venus Mcflytrap.
This big girl wants an undercut, so to ease her into it, we styled her hair like a “faux” undercut. That way she can decide if she definitely wants one. I think it’s pretty cute.
